Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Chris Todd is a Registered Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern fluent in English and Arabic (MSA and Levantine dialect). He and his wife Kim founded a mental trauma care clinic in Tyre, Lebanon, where he spends much of the year working with Syrian, Lebanese, and Palestinian clients. Chris is certified in MESE and EMDR, and specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Chris has a passion for seeing people freed from the shackles of trauma and empowered to find a new sense of self-confidence, self-worth, and hope for the future. Chris is available through telehealth.

Chris holds a BS from Auburn University (Alabama), an MRel from the Institute for Middle Eastern Studies in Beirut (Lebanon), an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of West Alabama, and is currently working on his dissertation for a EdD in Traumatology from Liberty University (Virginia). His internship work has been done primarily among refugees from the Syrian civil war, and recently from the Israel/Hamas war. Chris is also an ordained pastor with the Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians and serves as a Pastor with the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon.
